To the NFL: I understand the Do Not Hit a Defenseless Receiver Rule. I understand the Do Not Touch the QB Rule High Low or Whatever I understand the Do Not Block High Low Double Team … I DO NOT Understand Why They Allow the Chop Block From Behind On Defensive Players Like what Happened to Brian Cushing Last Night?
As a Friend of Matt Cassel and All NFL Football players and as a Parent of a Football Player I am appealing to all Real NFL Fans to come together and say enough is enough. All Kansas City Chief/USC/Chatsworth High School fans team up and stand up for Matt Cassel against these weak minded fans who cheered his concussion. It is not enough we give this game our sons to endure some bone wrenching pain that will last them the rest of their lives. I dont care if we have to single out each Hooligan like they did at European Soccer games to keep these people from attending games, We Must Do It. Good Bad or Whatever, it takes Super Human Life Shortening Effort to Play in the NFL. Cheer, Boo and Support your team, but if you ever cheer when Any Player Gets Injured, The Fan Police Will Point You Out, Put You On the Big Screen and Ban Your A** from the Privilege of Attending Another Game.
I know Matt Cassel. He has worked hard his whole life to get where he is. If the Kansas City Chief fans knew Matt Cassel, they would not cheer because he was injured. Real fans can boo him for playing bad and cheer him for doing good but to cheer for him being knocked out is a low blow that says more about the fans than it does about Matt Cassel. Fans, pretend you kid is out there trying his best to win for his team and you are sitting next to a guy who cheers caused he was knocked out? How would you feel? Yeah, I thought so.
